LancoMaster eBay API Privacy Notice

Lanco Enterprises, LLC operates LancoMaster, an internal business-management application used to manage Lanco Enterprises' eBay selling activities, inventory, listings, orders, fulfillment, and related business records.

Information received from eBay

When an authorized eBay account grants LancoMaster access through eBay's authentication process, LancoMaster may receive information made available through eBay APIs. Depending on the permissions granted, this may include seller-account information, listings, product information, inventory quantities, orders, transactions, shipping and fulfillment information, and other information necessary to operate and reconcile the authorized eBay selling account.

How information is used

Information obtained through eBay APIs is used only for legitimate business purposes associated with Lanco Enterprises' eBay operations, including inventory management, listing creation and maintenance, order processing, fulfillment, reconciliation, reporting, and audit functions.

Lanco Enterprises does not sell personal information obtained through eBay APIs and does not use eBay API information for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

Authentication and security

LancoMaster uses eBay's authorized authentication methods. Lanco Enterprises does not collect or store eBay account passwords. Authentication credentials, access tokens, and refresh tokens are maintained using secured systems and are used only to access authorized eBay services.

LancoMaster's cloud-based integration services are hosted using secured Microsoft Azure services. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Data retention and deletion

Information obtained through eBay APIs is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the business purpose for which it was obtained and in accordance with applicable eBay requirements.

Lanco Enterprises participates in eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notification process. When eBay provides a valid account-deletion or closure notification, information associated with that eBay account will be handled and deleted as required by eBay's developer and privacy requirements.

Third-party services

eBay is an independent service provider with its own terms and privacy practices. Use of eBay services is also subject to eBay's User Agreement and Privacy Notice.
